Temperatures are dropping across the nation as Australia prepares for Christmas in July 2016!

Tasmania is ready for their own winter blast according to the aptly named "The Mercury" where snow snow flurries are expected at sea level! Meanwhile in South Australia there are incredible images of the force of the dangerous wind. The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has forecast snow as low as 300m in the Victorian Alps, and gale force winds in NSW ski resorts. Melbourne is set for lows of 5C, Sydney 9C and Canberra a light dusting of snow and -2C!

We couldn't agree more with the fantastic BoM tweet: Let it snow!

What does all this mean for Christmas fans? It means we get to hunker down, stoke up the fire (or the oven) and enjoy the fantastic company of friends and family in an authentic European-weather Christmas in July lunch or dinner! We're so lucky to have this great excuse for a themed get-together, one that's filled with the warmth of winter food and genuine company.

What are you up to for Christmas in July?
