Store Supervisor / Assistant Store Supervisor
Overview:
The Christmas Warehouse is one of the largest Christmas retail stores in Australia. As a seasonal Store Supervisor or Assistant Store Supervisor you will be reporting and working closely with your store's Manager to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the store. The Christmas Warehouse offers a fun and exciting working environment.
As the successful applicant, you must possess:
- a strong desire to sell
- retail experience
- be able to set the benchmark for all standards, professionally and personally
- the ability to take ownership of problems and issues, being able to take them to their conclusion
- the ability to follow and comply with all policies and procedures
- work as an integral part of the management team
- be a responsible, punctual, reliable, honest and hardworking person

Duties include:
- helping with store setup
- motivating sales staff and focusing on sales
- keeping stock on show with correct signage and price tickets
- show a high level of customer service and demonstrated ability with complicated customer service issues
- be able to demonstrate accurate cash handling
- ensure all end of day and Company paperwork is perfectly maintained
Due to the nature of our business you will be required to work a flexible roster including weekend work.
Seasonal eCommerce & Customer Experience Assistant
Overview:
We are one of Australia's largest Christmas retailers, with a strong eCommerce presence servicing customers across Australia and New Zealand. As a seasonal eCommerce and Customer Experience Assistant, you will work across the digital systems and platforms that help keep our online business running throughout the busy Christmas period.
This is a technology-focused customer support role suited to a digital native who enjoys learning new SaaS applications, working across multiple systems and solving problems. You will learn how the different parts of a modern eCommerce tech stack work together, while helping customers and our retail stores with online orders, website navigation, accounts, products and deliveries.
The role is fast-paced and varied, so the successful applicant must be a keen learner who can quickly become confident using new applications and processes. Full training and support will be provided. The Christmas Warehouse workplace is fun, energetic and all about helping Christmas-loving customers have a great experience.
As the successful applicant, you must possess:
A strong interest in technology and digital systems
The ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn new SaaS applications and online platforms
Confidence working across multiple applications and systems at the same time
An interest in how eCommerce websites, marketplaces and digital systems work together
Online customer service or retail customer service experience
Clear verbal communication and strong literacy skills
Excellent attention to detail
A patient, consistent and professional approach, particularly under pressure
A self-motivated and 'can do' attitude
The ability to take ownership of problems and issues and follow them through to their conclusion
The ability to work autonomously while also being an integral part of a team
The ability to follow and comply with all policies and procedures
A willingness to learn quickly in a busy seasonal environment
Duties include:
Working across multiple SaaS applications and digital platforms supporting our eCommerce and retail operations
Assisting customers through our website, marketplaces, email, messaging, social media and phone
Helping customers navigate the website, including checkout and online purchasing
Troubleshooting website, checkout, customer account, product, order and freight issues
Processing online transactions
Assisting with pre- and post-order enquiries
Supporting our retail stores with online customer enquiries
Assisting customers with member benefits and accounts
Investigating problems and taking ownership of issues through to resolution
Learning and following the processes and systems that connect our eCommerce operation
Completing general administration and office duties as required
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks
